A lady, blond, and working the bar was the nicest lady I’ve met in a diner in a long time. She was so sweet not only to me, but to my two grandparents. “ This is a new restaurant & bar in LaRose, Illinois (very small rural village). The owners really did a great job renovating this building and making it modern. This place is a big asset to LaRose and provides travelers with a good reason to stop in their village and patronize local businesses. While my personal experiences dining in were both peaks and valleys, the valleys were not at the fault of the owner. A lot of restaurants are really struggling right now to find good reliable assistance in the kitchen. The wait times for food were very long, but the food was really good. I imagine when the restaurant finds stable and reliable workers, they will cut down the time it takes to get the food out to the tables. I would definitely give this restaurant a chance if you are in the area. Their wings were fantastic. They also have really great specials that constantly change. Try to be understanding if your food takes longer than usual to get to the table, they are working with what they have available right now. ”
